Privacy Policy
Effective July 20, 2026
TeeAtlas shows golf tee-time availability and links you to each course's own booking site. We never handle bookings or payments, so we never see payment details. This page lists everything we do collect, why, and how to get rid of it.
What we collect
- Account data: if you sign in with Google we store your email address and name. Nothing else from your Google account.
- Favorites and alerts: the courses you star and the alert criteria you set (courses, dates, times, price, delivery email). Alerts created without an account are keyed to the email you provide.
- Location: we don't derive your location from your IP address. Searches start from a default city until you pick another, and your choice is saved in your browser, not on our servers. Precise location is used only if you tap “Near me” and grant the browser permission, and is also never stored on our servers.
- Course suggestions: if you tell us about a missing course you can optionally leave an email address. We use it once, to tell you what happened to that suggestion. It is not added to any mailing list and we don't contact you again about it.
- Booking clicks: when you click through to book we record the course and slot (and your account id if signed in) so we can tell courses the traffic we send them. Deleted after 180 days.
- Filters: your search filters are saved in your own browser (localStorage), not on our servers.
- Server logs: standard request logs (IP, path, status) for security and debugging, retained briefly by our hosting providers.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your data with advertisers.
- We don't process payments or store payment details.
- We don't use tracking cookies; our only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.
Who processes data for us
Vercel (website hosting and anonymous page analytics), Railway (API hosting), Neon (database), Google (sign-in), Resend (alert email delivery), and, if enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on forms). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Your rights
- Unsubscribe: every alert email contains a one-click unsubscribe link; signed-in users can also manage alerts in your account.
- Delete everything: the account page has a Delete-account button that erases your account, favorites and alerts immediately and permanently.
- Access / export / questions: use the contact link in the footer and we'll respond within 30 days.
Where data lives
Our database and API run on infrastructure in North America. If you use TeeAtlas from elsewhere (including the EU/UK), your data is processed there under this policy.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update the effective date above and note it on the site.
